Happy Birthday to HIM!

My charming husband finally decided to be the same age as me and had a birthday last Saturday! My mom and lil' sis were in town to celebrate too (his lucky day for sure). We started the day with brunch at Le Reve in Tosa Village, a little French Cafe with the most addicting hot chocolate on the planet. It was a little rainy, but we scuttled around the farmer's market for a bit (last day before next year-sad). Mom felt we needed more seasonal decorations so she got us some little pumpkins and funky gourd things. After, we went downtown. We drove up by Lake Park to enjoy the fall colors and show mom and O the lake.

Next, the Betty Brinn Children's Museum.
The wings of the Milwaukee Art Museum behind us.
Steve the bus driver...

...and news camera man.

O has a future in broadcast

I practiced being a florist

Quite the interactive museum. We had just as much fun doing things ourselves as we did watching all the other little kids.

You've probably guessed where we went for dinner... PIZZA! In my hunt for the perfect pizza place I heard about Ian's. They have all sorts of different pizza flavors, the most famous being Mac & Cheese. We also tried Chicken Cordon Bleu and Philly Cheese Stake, as well as the generic Veggie and Pepperoni-Sausage. All very tasty.

We returned to the apartment for the grand opening of "The Tower" (A Goodfellow family present tradition) and other gifts.

We ended the day with a little swimming at the hotel where Mom and O were staying. Then had Pumpkin Cheesecake (to switch up Steve's usual Pumpkin Pie birthday cake). We ate it in the hotel room and therefore couldn't have sparklers (which I forgot anyways).

An exciting day for sure. Happy Birthday (1 week later) Steve!
